Graduation Photoshoot

Dress: Pacsun, Belt: Abercrombie

A week or so ago, my friend Madison took these pictures of me for my graduation announcements. I'm a little behind, but now I'm working on designing them and getting them printed. I can't believe I graduate so soon! IB tests are starting so it's almost feeling more real. But that probably won't all kick in until about midnight on my graduation night! I've definitely enjoyed high school, but I'm getting more and more excited about summer, especially with all the testing craziness right now. I have so many art projects and photography shoots I want to try that I can't want to get that opportunity after all my tests are done! I can't wait to share them all with you.

Oversized Cardigan

In Motion: leggings, festival shirt, oversized cardigan, outfit In Motion: leggings, festival shirt, oversized cardigan, outfit In Motion: leggings, festival shirt, oversized cardigan, outfitIn Motion: leggings, festival shirt, oversized cardigan, outfit
Shirt: music festival / Leggings: Target / Shoes: Urban Outfitters / Bag: Old Navy / Cardigan: Urban Outfitters (brother's)

Okay, so it's been forever since I posted an outfit I've actually worn. But this was a perfect comfy, gray Monday outfit. It was sort of uncharacteristically simple and monochromatic, actually. But none of the scarves or necklaces I tried out with this outfit felt right so I just left it as is. Honestly, I was totally on the fence about this oversized cardigan at first, but I really loved how comfy it all was and how well I felt it fit together. The other day, my brother told me that even when I go away to college, I'll still get his old clothes he grows out of (I can't believe he's three years younger) and he'll just mail them to me. While this cardigan isn't mine yet, I'm definitely looking forward to the day that it is.

Style Inspiration // The Polyvore Collection

Have you ever seen the website The Polyvore Collection? It's basically a blog made up of various Polyvore outfits and is much easier to browse than the actual Polyvore website. It's mostly full of dark and minimalist outfits which isn't exactly my style, but I love looking through it and just seeing outfits that are different from what I would put together. Even though most of the outfits aren't my style or even my ideal style, there are a lot that I get inspiration from. For example, all of these outfits I've included in this post. They all get me really excited for original prints and outfits made up of neutrals, which would all be perfect for the upcoming summer.

Yes or No 1

In Motion: spring/summer style, Forever 21, outfit, opinion
( 1 / 2 / 3 )

Hi, everyone! At the moment, I'm trying to save up for what will hopefully be a trip in the summer so I haven't been buying anything at all! I'm also trying to build up a wardrobe for college and making sure I have any essentials, so I've been trying to save as much money as I can. I've still been peeking at a few websites here and there, though, like Forever 21. Though I'm not buying any of these pieces, I could help but imagine pairing those shoes and that dress together for a spring/summer outfit. I recently discovered nail rings, too, and I love them, so I thought they would be fun to include. While I love all these pieces, I'm completely torn about this outfit. I really love the idea, but I feel like I'd have to see it in person to decide if they all really work together. I say yes, my friend Madison says no, so I'm wondering what you guys think! I can see either way and even though I won't ever actually put this outfit together, I can't help but wonder how it'd look in person. Do you guys think it would look any good?
